- Is Job Badger really free?
- Yes, and free means usable rather than a preview: your letter is yours to copy and send, with no watermark, no paywall at the download step, and no trial that auto-renews. The free tier includes several tailored cover letters per day, the job search, an honest read on how you match each role, a CV health check, and one free revision per letter. Premium (reservations open) adds CV rewrites per role, company analysis, named contacts, and top-tier AI models.
- Will the AI invent experience I don't have?
- No. Every letter is grounded only in the facts you provide (typed, pasted from LinkedIn, or extracted from your CV) and what the job posting says. If your inputs are thin, the badger tells you what to add instead of making things up.
- What happens to my CV when I upload it?
- The file is parsed in memory and never stored. Only the extracted text — which you can see and edit before anything is generated — is processed.
- Which job boards does the search cover?
- One search covers free public and official sources across 30+ countries: the EU's EURES aggregator (~30 European countries), jooble for the US, Canada, the UK and Germany, worldwide remote boards (Jobicy, RemoteOK, Working Nomads), USAJOBS for US federal roles, New York City's own government jobs board, the UK's Reed, Germany's Arbeitsagentur, Sweden's Arbetsförmedlingen, Singapore's MyCareersFuture, ReliefWeb for humanitarian and development jobs worldwide (including Africa and the Middle East), Arbeitnow, and 58 company career pages read directly, picked by market — which is what reaches Tokyo, Toronto, Bangalore, Sydney and São Paulo. English keywords are translated into the local posting language automatically — a search in Madrid finds Spanish postings, a search in Warsaw finds Polish ones.
- Can I search from my CV instead of typing a job title?
- Yes. Paste your CV or your whole LinkedIn profile page, or upload the file, and choose how wide to search. The AI reads it once to work out up to six job titles your experience supports, including ones you might not have thought to search for, at the seniority your CV actually shows. Only those titles go to the job boards; your CV text is never stored with the search and never sent to a board. Every match shows which role found it, and the results say how many postings were scanned.
- Can I search a whole region, like DACH or EMEA?
- Yes. Type DACH, Benelux, Nordics, UK & Ireland, Europe, EMEA or North America and the search asks each member country separately, then spreads the results across them, so the biggest market cannot take every slot. APAC and LATAM work as remote filters, because that is how job boards describe who may apply to a remote role. Asia, Africa, South America and Oceania are not offered as on-site regions: outside Singapore we would find too little for the result to be worth showing.
- Are remote jobs open to applicants anywhere?
- Usually not, and it decides more than anything on your CV. We read 993 remote listings in September 2026: 92% named a country, region, city or time zone, 38% were open to the United States only, and 6% set no location rule we could find. - Does Job Badger apply to jobs for me?
- Not today: you review and send every application yourself. Assisted submission is planned, but only behind a step where you read and approve everything first. Mass auto-applying is a different thing entirely, it gets candidates filtered and rejected, and Job Badger will not do it.
